A new version for this quarter and to celebrate Dotclear's 21st birthday!
A major overhaul of the code, which will continue for several more versions, but which will not call into question the current ecosystem — no incompatibilities to be expected, apart from those already known — of plugins and themes.
The backend has been slightly revised to make it more coherent and unified, and this is also in progress at the same time as the code is being reworked.
A few bugs fixed.
In short, it's still moving and it's going to be fine!

I can't seem to ever apply these updates within Dotclear. The error message is consistent:
"The following files of your Dotclear installation have been modified so we won't try to update your installation. Please try to update manually.

@Ted: it works fine until I import my old database which went through all changes since 2008. I use the Fake me up plugin to avoid this.

I did a backup of my current blog, backed up my media folder, and backed up my config.php.
Then I installed and tried the "Fake Me Up" plug in. It worked awesome. Thank-you so much!
